Al Chien


Al Chien has over 35 years of sales, management, and leadership experience, with an enduring record in exceeding sales objectives and managing a US sales force. He has a distinguished background in selling to end-users, OEMs, distributors, resellers, and strategic accounts. Strengths in creation of new go-to-market strategies, contract negotiation, defining and developing sales channels, creating and driving a well-conceived vision, high level of business acumen and working at all executive levels. In his last role at HPE, he was responsible for $2.4B in annual revenue and led a team of 65 individual contributors and managers.

Mr. Chien left HPE in 2008 to lead sales at Dasher Technologies, which at the time had $27M in annual sales.  Under Chien’s leadership, Dasher sales grew to $175M in fiscal 2019 with a 10X increase in net profit over that timeframe. Services revenue increased 12X during that same period. Dasher expanded competencies from being HPE-centric to establishing Platinum certification levels with over 30 vendors and representing nearly 100 manufacturers. He was promoted to President and CEO in 2017, a role he served until his departure in 2020.
