Jacqueline Scott


Jackie is a seasoned executive known for her ability to use her expertise in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) and Justice practices to help drive the process of reexamining and embedding DEI in organizations, including the development and implementation of training programs, corporate policy, and ROI. Trained in both law and business she has successfully used her skills to build and achieve results with cross-functional, local, national, and global teams to create tangible outcomes. Jackie has successfully worked in government, non-profit, and business sectors, gaining a reputation for using creativity and innovation to make decisions, problem solve, and develop strategies that deliver outcomes with measurable results.

Jackie currently serves as the Director of one of the largest agencies in Howard County Maryland and as a Consultant and Facilitator at AchieveUnite where she oversees their DEI practice. Prior to this, Jackie spent 10 years at Georgetown Law, where she led the public health law program at the Harrison Institute for Public Law and focused on both health equity and race and gender equity. She has also held teaching appointments at the School of Public Health, University of Maryland, College Park; and Nyack College’s former Washington D.C campus where she taught leadership, change management, and business law and ethics.

In addition to her teaching experience, Jackie has held past positions in the private and non-profit sectors including serving as a Policy Advisor in the Governor’s and Lieutenant Governor’s offices in the state of Maryland.She is a sought-after speaker and consultant across government, non-profit, and private sectors, including Fortune 500 technology companies. Jackie also serves as a consultant, lecturer, and trainer for numerous academic, state, local, private, and nonprofit organizations. She holds a dual BA from Georgetown University; a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center; and a Masters in Leadership from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown. Jackie lives in Howard County with her husband and three children and is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Howard County.
